About you

Our group has two married couples leading. We have led multiple groups for many years. We have followed the Lord since high school and/or college, and are passionate about seeing believers connected to the body of Christ, living lives of honor & grace, and embracing the full extent of God's love and calling.

The Barkers have been married for 41 years and have 11 children, mostly grown although one is in college, and 5 grandchildren. Ken has worked in Christian music his entire career, Brenda ran an adoption agency for 14 years, and has spent the last 16 years in healthcare.

The Whittingtons have two college age sons. Marcy is a flight attendant and Ken works in healthcare.

Group Description

We meet every other Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Feel free to bring a dish to share, as we will start with fellowship around the table, move into a discussion of the message or the Word, followed by prayer. Everyone is welcome, although there will not be childcare, you can bring your children. We hope you will come and visit and see if this is your community/family group home.

Group Vision

We hope members will connect, fellowship, develop friendships, have prayer covering, and feel loved and supported. Our hope is that we would all walk closer to Jesus, transparently sharing our lives, as we grow more and more into His image. We hope to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our group as well as our community.
