About Matt & Erika:
We’re a family with two young boys and know firsthand how full and stretching this season of life can be. After leading our Community Group last year, we came away with an even greater appreciation for the kind of meaningful friendships and support that can grow when people intentionally do life together. We’ve developed a real passion for building community where people feel known, cared for, and encouraged as we grow in our faith and practice the way of Jesus together.
Group Description:
This group is for families navigating a busy and stretching season of life, juggling work, parenting, marriage, and faith. We want to create a safe and welcoming space where we can grow in our relationships with Jesus, build meaningful friendships, and support one another through prayer, encouragement, and the ups and downs of everyday life. Our hope is to cultivate a community marked by honesty, genuine connection, and spiritual growth as we walk through life together.
Our gatherings will include a study time, followed by a potluck (or sometimes catered) dinner. Children are welcome! We split the cost of sitters. During the first half, kids will be upstairs with sitters and adults will be separate, then we'll all come together for dinner.
Group Vision:
Our vision is to see God grow us into a genuine community where we know one another deeply, grow together in our faith, and put God’s Word into practice in our everyday lives. We want to be a group that truly shows up for one another through the highs and lows and the everyday challenges of life—praying for one another, encouraging one another, celebrating together, and stepping in with practical support when needs arise. We also want to look beyond ourselves, serving together and sharing the love of Jesus by meeting needs in our local community.
