Understanding how Community Groups differ from Meet-Ups

Community Groups are long-term discipleship-focused communities committed to Bible study, missional living, and prayer together. It will not be just a time for socializing, but for spiritual development and authentic community. For new members to be a part of a Community Group, they will be required to take an in-person course before joining a group, and for leaders it will require more thorough training and involvement, as it will be a place of intentional commitment for everyone involved to grow together. It will be the primary environment for people in our church to grow spiritually within community.

Meet-Ups are a separate casual way to socially connect with others in the same life-stage, career field, or around common interests. These are great non-committal opportunities to drop in and meet new friends, centered around social community rather than intentional spiritual development. Those leading Meet-Ups will be called 'Hosts', and you can host for just a season or ongoing!

Please have your co-leader fill out this interest form as well.

Thank you so much! Someone from our team will reach out soon to chat further with more info!
