About Jewel:
Hello, my name is Jewel Taylor and I am currently in the season of homeschooling our two middle school daughters. I moved to Nashville in 2006 for a job and my husband was one of the first people I met once I got here. We have been in Brentwood for 4 years and at COTC for roughly 3. I am very excited for the opportunity to create community within our actual community. I love to study God's Word and I love to connect women of all ages! Even more so, I desire to truly do life with and to walk in faith alongside other Godly women as we seek after Jesus in the everyday roles of friend, wife, mother, sister, etc. I am praying for the Lord to build and grow this group with an amazing collection of women between whom He fosters a special connection.

Group Description:

Our group will meet weekly, on Thursday mornings, from 9:30-11:30am, during the school year. Women of all ages are welcome, but no childcare is provided. In addition, we will begin and end promptly as I have to get back to homeschooling duties at 11:30 am.

We will begin with a few minutes of fellowship/snack, followed by a themed study, and time in prayer. I desire for our group to build trust and openness so that we may not only encourage one another in our walks with the Lord, but also be blessed by seeing Him work in each other's lives. Vulnerability is key within the body of Christ!

Group Vision:

Oh I am so excited to see what the Lord is going to do through this group and our time with Him. I am praying for deepened walks with Him, blossoming friendships rooted in Him and a renewed sense of community for these women...who doesn't need a beautiful sister in Christ praying for you, laughing with you and lifting you up in the everyday moments of this life we are living?!?!?
